The Future Sound Systems OSC2 Recombination Engine is a compact and powerful Eurorack module that combines versatility and innovative features to take your modular rig to the next level.

Novel Wave Splicing Technique

Focused on a novel wave splicing technique, the OSC2 provides you with harmonically rich and innovative tones. The inclusion of new-generation CEM3340 VCO chips installed in each of the three analog voltage-controlled oscillators ensures ultimate tracking and linearity across the frequency spectrum.

Compact and Sleek Design

With its sleek, all-black fascia and compact size, the OSC2 can easily be incorporated into your rig with minimal effort. Simply connect it and screw it in, and you’re ready to go.

Powerful Circuitry

The OSC2 employs three VCOs in a master/positive slave/negative slave arrangement, all of which can be found in the glue section. The recombination technique allows you to freely switch between the positive and negative DNA oscillators, depending on the position of the positive or negative state of the scissor square wave.

Versatile Sonic Experiences

The VCOs of the OSC2 allow you to switch between linear and exponential FM modes, providing you with a wide frequency range and fine-tune controls. You have access to both oscillator’s VCA sections through the intuitive mix outputs, and level controls that perform similarly to those found on the cyclical engine VCO module.

CV Lock and Sync Lock

CV Lock ties the exponential frequency bus of the scissor oscillator to the two DNA VCOs, making it useful when using the OSC2 as a standard triple oscillator stack. Sync Lock resets the Positive DNA to the positive portion of the scissor VCO and resets the Negative DNA to the negative portion of the scissor VCO.
