The Roland Boutique TB-03 Bass Line is a modern version of the famous TB-303 Bass Line Synth. It has the same layout and controls as the original, but with added features for an enhanced programming experience, including a LED display and rotary dials for easier access to essential controls. The TB-03 uses Roland’s Analog Circuit Behavior technology to accurately replicate the sound and character of the original TB-303. It also functions as a 24-bit/96 kHz audio interface and can be powered by either USB or 4 AA batteries.
In addition to its TB-303 emulation, the TB-03 has new features not found on the original, including overdrive and delay effects, fine tempo control, and improved pattern creation options. It has CV/Gate outputs for connecting to vintage analog gear and modular synths, a dedicated trigger input, and can control and receive information via MIDI and USB.
The TB-03 has 7 tracks, 2 waveform options (SAW and SQUARE), and 96 user memory patterns. It has various controllers, such as volume, tuning, cutoff, resonance, envelope mod, decay, and accent knobs. The TB-03 can also be programmed using classic Pitch, Time, and Step write modes, and has a built-in powered speaker for instant enjoyment.
Connectors include trigger in, CV output, gate output, headphones, output, mix in, MIDI IN/OUT, and USB. The TB-03 can be powered by either rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (for approximately 5 hours of continuous use) or USB bus power, and has a compact size of 308mm (W) x 130mm (D) x 52mm (H) and a weight of 940g.
